Haiku Wall at 68th Fine Arts Fiesta 2024, Peace of Art

This year the Fine Arts Fiesta is presenting with in its “Seven Lively Arts” presentation an original Haiku Wall.

Individuals of any age may bring an original Haiku or write one on site and post it.  The only requirement is that it fit into the traditional rules of Haiku, be of appropriate language, subject matter. And on a standard sized line free  3” X 5”  white index card. Signature of the author is not required but encouraged.

At the end of the Fiesta all submitted Hakiu will be saved and archived for another Fine Arts Fiesta presentation in the future.

This unique and creative presentation wall is created and designed by artist Leigh Pawling and funded in part by The Luzerne Foundation 2024 granting cycle and Oceans State Job Lot, Inc.

The Fine Arts Fiesta is the oldest full scale, multi disciplinary arts festival in the state of Pennsylvania founded by Annette Evans with the assistance of Alfred Groh.  It continues to be “a free gift of the arts to the people of the region” for all ages to enjoy visual and performing arts.
